BONIVITAL RINGETTE ASSOCIATION
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Bonivital Ringette Association (BVRA) provides a maximum of two (2) $500 Scholarships to assist young female BVRA member* athletes graduating from high school who aspire to a post-secondary education. Recipients of the scholarships shall be recognized for their academic achievement in the final year of High School and their contribution to the sport of Ringette.
ELIGIBLITY
Applicants must have met the admission standard and be enrolled full-time in a recognized post-secondary educational institution.
Applicants must have actively participated in Ringette as a player for a total of 5 years, including as a registrant for this past season.
Applicants must have actively participated in a non-player aspect of Ringette (e.g. certified instructor, skating instructor, rostered bench staff, certified official/minor official)
Applicants must be a member* of the Bonivital Ringette Association.
*A BVRA Member is a registered participant who resides within the BoniVital Ringette Association District 5
HOW TO APPLY
Applicants must complete the application form, which can be downloaded as a PDF from the bottom of this page. Applications must be completed and received by March 28th, 2025.
The application must include:
Letter of support from their school principal, teacher or personal reference.
A transcript or report with school grades from grade eleven and grades to date for grade twelve.
Scholarships are to be awarded annually, and each recipient will be recognized at their respective school’s award ceremony or by alternative means as determined by BVRA.
SELECTION
All applications will be reviewed by the Selection Committee. If any of the required documentation is not provided, the application will not be considered.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES
BVRA will contact the school of the successful candidates regarding the Scholarship, for recognition at their school award ceremony**. Successful candidates must verify entrance into the post-secondary institute, including verification of tuition payment prior to receiving the appropriate scholarship monies. Scholarship monies will be mailed as a cheque to the address included on this application form upon receipt of verification.
